Lieutenant Phillips Pascoe of Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas, in West Germany with the 3rd Armored Division. He stands next to a small blackboard on which he had chalked a layout of the area and had designated a point on a hill nearby where the enemy presumably had an installation that must be taken.
